Currently, I am reading through the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks that my boyfriend got me into.
Talk about FANTASTIC!

Weeks does a great job courting his readers with wonderful/terrifying characters and "ringing" them with mind-boggling plot twists.
It's also nice for me, because I'm so used to reading authors like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis who aren't alive, to follow Weeks on Twitter and keep up with his writing progress.
I recommend this trilogy to all who enjoy fantasy fiction and fans of good writing alike.

Another GREAT piece from Brent Weeks.
This second book started slower for me than The Way of Shadows though.
No spoilers, but most of the real action happens in the last few chapters.
I do appreciate the picture Brent Weeks paints of just how low society has dropped (literally).
I'm not too fond of a few of the plot twists, but I suppose they're for a reason.
Can't wait to read Beyond the Shadows.
